Austin in Europe  

My inner fangirl is crying, or cheering, it depends on the POV.

Austin's brother-in-law, Rowdy Stovall, informs us on his blog that he and Austin will be coming to Europe soon, if he is not already here, that is.

"I'm off to Ischia, Italy (an island just off Napoli) to screen Mexican Sunrise in a couple of weeks. We screen on July 20th in case anyone is in the area... check out www.ischiaglobal.com.

Matt Dillon and Kate Beckensale will be attending, so I'm hoping to somehow get them drunk and talk them into doing my next film with me. Austin Nichols, my bro-in-law and soon to be A-list actor, will be joining me since Ashley (my wifey) can't go. So, we're going to meet up in Rome a few days before the festival and 'kick it' bachelor style."

Sigh....
We have a saying here, it goes like this:  if the mountain won't come to Mohamed, Mohamed has to go to the mountain.
I'm afraid this Mohamed will stay home...

Italy is not that far from either London or Morocco. Hmmm.

Cheering for Austin and the places to be in Europe.
Crying for myself, it's the closest I will ever get to him, and I can't get to him to take the once in a lifetime picture ;)

Thanks for the news Spooky. I"m both cheering and sad: sorry this happen while I was in Italy earlier this year; happy for Austin and Rowdy. And yes, I thought about the proximity to other places too Special.

I read on OMG about the beautiful trip you made around Italy; it's a pity it was not coincidental with Austin's visit. So he'll has his visit to Italy after all.
And would you believe I have a week off from work during this period ;D
Everybody's thinking of the proximity to other places, even my now anonymous visitor must have guessed the same.

I had the same thoughts as Special and Destiny - Rome, Morocco, London... Tuscany, anyone? Another great piece of detective work, Spooky. I haven't stopped smiling since I read this. :)

I wish we could include a short visit to Brussels to the above list. What can I do to convince Austin?
Make a post about the goodies he can find in Brussels. Do you think he has a sweet tooth?

I remember the travel post Anouska, I thought about it even this morning.
Starting in London, go over Brussels to Paris, Rome and Ischia. Sounds good?
