Has there ever been a time we had to wait this long for some news about Austin?
Last year we were spoiled, I know, but this year it has been so awfully quiet I am starting to wonder if something happened.

If you read this, Austin, could you give us a sign you are alive and well ;)

Meanwhile a virtual statement from our favorite guy.
Change will come!

The next body part in the Austin Nichols 'grand tour' has been highlighted here before on this journal.
Often before I might add ;D

I hope he will be satisfied with the 'continuation'.

Thanks to the excellent services of Amazon, who I will remember in my prayers from now on, I received my shipment of Austin movies, three weeks sooner than expected.

I still not have recovered entirely from watching the cinematographic masterpiece 'The Durango kids', although I was mildly disappointed Austin's role in it was not so important.
You will read my review of the movie later.

On the other hand I only watched snippets from 'Full Count'.
One single image from the movie kept hounting me, Austin in his short black top. Those of you who've seen the movie already will know what I mean.
For the rest of you, here's a small preview.
Enjoy

Austin’s movie from 2005, Lenexa 1 Mile, has be renamed. The new name is “Full Count”.
The coming-of-age drama Full Count will be released on DVD March 18, 2008.

Short Synopsis

They were known as the “dream team” – five friends, as close as brothers, who have been through sports victories, shared experiences, and personal triumphs during their years together, both on and off the field.

But, in their final summer together before leaving their hometown for college, these life-long friends will put their friendship to the test as they try to right a heinous wrong and redeem the reputation of one of their own – even at the cost of their individual futures. Against the backdrop of a fateful game of softball, old scores will be settled, boys will learn what it is to become a man, and the past will forever remain in the past.

Austin wonders why his name is not on the movie poster

June 2005, Austin made a movie called Lenexa 1 mile.
As far as I know this film is not (yet) on dvd.

The film tells the story of five childhood friends during their last summer together in Lenexa before going to college. Their bond is tested when a disturbing secret comes to light and they are forced to set out on a quest to protect and redeem the reputation of one of their own - at whatever cost to their futures.  They soon uncover secrets in the fabric of the town, that challenge their perceptions and force them to make difficult choices.

The few pictures I managed to find are on the Jason Wiles site and not to be used elsewhere. Here’s the link: http://www.jasonwiles.net/lenexaset.htm

The movie is shown on the FilmFest Kansas City 2007 on Thur Oct 25. The screening is at 9:00.

In attendance will be the Director Jason Wiles and stars Jason Ritter, Michael Rooker, Tim Hensel, Chris Klein and Paul Wesley.
No Austin :{
