T.C., the things you make me do!!!

I wanted to use this fraze for ages but couldn't think of the exact song for Austin to get his hair all messed up.
"Jet - Are you gonna be my girl "came a close second but I finaly choose for The Cult's She Sells Sanctuary.

It's a great song and another reason for the choice is I was a bit in love with their bassist Jamie Stewart when I was really young ;)

Can you picture yourself a headbanging Austin?

Austin getting in touch with his Gothic self, it’s like a dream come true.

I can watch this new, gorgeous Austin pics at Austin Media for hours without getting bored. The black nail polish … sigh … the rings, the bracelet … it left me breathless…

So, it was a nice surprise, when watching my newly acquired House of Usher DVD,  to see him explore his inner Gothic side. 
We know he can sing. Next time he is interviewed, I expect him to start singing “This Heaven” spontaneously.

Will you do that for us, Austin?

Or in this case, what a difference three days make.

Exactly a year ago, January 12, 2007 Austin started promoting John from Cincinnati on the HBO Winter 2007 TCA Press Tour. He was sporting a strange Eraserhead hairdo and did not look his usual, confident self. Did he have a severe hang-over or was he simply unhappy being there, we will never know.

Now only three days later he appeared, still doing the promotion work, at the Golden Globes, looking every bit a Golden Boy, shiny, happy, smiling, gorgeous. I can only guess during the weekend he underwent an extreme make-over that made him look as new!

It’s several months since we last saw a new picture of him. Do you ever wonder what he will look like the next time we see him?

Finaly a fairly recent picture of a blond Austin at the screening of Lenexa 1 mile on Oct. 25th, 2007.
I think he looks great and I melt away looking at his extra sharp cheekbones.

When flipping through my Austin files to put together the Fashion Sense Post, it occurred to me that Austin, despite his constantly changing looks, kept one permanent factor in his appearance, his long tweed coat, cut to perfection by the master himself.

If I remember well, he wore this coat the first time on The House of Usher.

During the years we saw him wearing his coat on casual as well as more formal occasions. Last time we could catch a glimpse of it was at the Making of John From Cincinnati.

If this coat could speak, what tales could it tell us?
