cheerful
crazyI had forgotten about this one.
That brings the total up to three.
deviousIf paradise is half as nice as heaven that you take me to
Who needs paradise I'd rather have you.
They say paradise is up in the stars
But I needn't sigh because it's so far
'Cos I know it's worth a heaven on earth
For me where you are.
A look from your eyes, a touch of your hand
And I seem to fly to some other land
When you are around my heart always pounds
Just like a brass band.
If paradise is half as nice as heaven that you take me to
Who needs paradise I'd rather have you
Oh yes I'd rather have you.
ecstaticThe next body part in the Austin Nichols 'grand tour' has been highlighted here before on this journal.
Often before I might add ;D
I hope he will be satisfied with the 'continuation'.
The best post ever on this particular subject: Les gouts et les couleurs
Pour les connoisseurs.
contentPlease don't look at the rest just yet.
lazyLet's start down below and work our way up during the week.
Austin's feet.
sleepyDoes that also count for Austin?
Can we not discuss the part(s) of him each of us prefers?
Let's start our discussion right here. I'm sure he would not mind.
depressedAustin getting in touch with his Gothic self, it’s like a dream come true.
I can watch this new, gorgeous Austin pics at Austin Media for hours without getting bored. The black nail polish … sigh … the rings, the bracelet … it left me breathless…
So, it was a nice surprise, when watching my newly acquired House of Usher DVD, to see him explore his inner Gothic side.
We know he can sing. Next time he is interviewed, I expect him to start singing “This Heaven” spontaneously.
Will you do that for us, Austin?
This Heaven
Love & Rockets
The chains that hold you just fall away
The blues that control you just fade away
Your blackest moments just fade away
The chains that control you just fall away
OOH, this heaven, it's waiting for you, it's waiting for you
OOH, this heaven,
it's waiting for you, it's waiting for you
... etc...
OOH, this heaven, it's waiting for you, it's waiting for you
Get lost in it
thankful

When I see you smile,
My heart always skips a beat.
And when I hear you laugh,
I beg you to repeat.
The way your eyes shine,
And glisten with purity.
How beautiful and soft your lips are,
I may lose my sanity.
These are things I notice
When I see you smile.
The way you laugh,
All worries left behind.
The way your soul brightens the room,
And touches deep inside ...

distressedWhat better occasion is there to combine two of my weaknesses, my recently discovered obsession for poster images and one of my all-time favorites, Austin’s arms.
I fell in love with the voluptuous roundness of his arms, in the House of Usher, where his character, Rick Usher, is reluctant to show the needle marks on his arms to Izabella Miko's character. Lucky for us the real Austin is never reluctant to show anything that is worth looking at.
Tell me, are you with me in the love of Austin’s arms?
artisticOr my sixth weakness
The first one for the new year
Austin’s cute little ears
Austin’s cute little dumbo ears
If there ever was a show where those cute ears were put into value, it surely is CSI-Miami’s Fade Out.
With the light coming from behind him in most of the scenes, Austin’s ears become a beautiful translucent, pinky red.
I could make a collage of how the cameraman highlighted his sweet little stick-out ears on CSI.
I didn’t. Here’s a little photo-montage.
Let me know what you think!

rushed A special little post for an overlooked garment, Austin's yellow rainboots
Thanks Jandafan for reminding me
Thanks IHJ and JustJared for the pics

Also an update to the fashion sense post.
i like this weather
i like this weather
it’s nice
the shadowy clouds block away
the sun
because only guess what?
the sun
gives me freckles
damn freckles
dark, heavy clouds means
rain
i like the rain
it’s a fashion show
it shows my fashion-able
rainboots
splashing, splashing
in tiny puddles
’cause i dont like the mud
mud:
another word for rain
and dirt
i like this weather
it’s nice
but let’s be careful and put on
sunscreen

lovedWhen flipping through my Austin files to put together the Fashion Sense Post, it occurred to me that Austin, despite his constantly changing looks, kept one permanent factor in his appearance, his long tweed coat, cut to perfection by the master himself.
If I remember well, he wore this coat the first time on The House of Usher.
During the years we saw him wearing his coat on casual as well as more formal occasions. Last time we could catch a glimpse of it was at the Making of John From Cincinnati.
If this coat could speak, what tales could it tell us?
Favourite coat and favourite look for our enjoyment.

But more important, will we see this at one time cherished garment ever again?
Is it still hanging in Austin’s wardrobe?
Austin, if you should read this, give us a sign.
WE REALLY WANT TO KNOW!!!
Happy Christmas day everyone!
weirdMy fifth Austin Weakness already…
Austin's impossible to imitate fashion sense.
I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves and I know I am forgetting tons of other examples of how Austin Nichols sees fashion.

Any feedback will be appreciated.
A reminder of my other four weaknesses:
First: His Voice
Second: His Hands
Third: His Butt
Fourth: His Eyes
contentAlready we are at number four. Can you guess what it is?
It's HIS EYES, off course.
I wanted to make a collage and when looking through my Austin Nichols files, I found a picture that says it all, Austin as Morgan Earp. His dark killer eyes, his look that warns innocent passers-by to not get any closer, or else, and – my favourite spot - the dark shadows underneath his eyes.
Can you take a look in those eyes without melting away?
Austin’s eyes are by far his most versatile body part. With his eyes he can express any feeling and any emotion.
You know by now I am not a poet and my descriptions tend to be very prosaic.
Feel free to add your comments.
In the Depths of Your Eyes
When we love tenderly
We can easily say nothing to one another
To know what you desire
I simply look at you
In the depths of your eyes
Which are softer than a caress
I can guess more than you think, my darling
In your laughing glance
Despite you I've understood quite well
That most of all
You need much tenderness
In the depths of your eyes
Which I contemplate with rapture
If I see a bit of sorrow
And even great regret
My arms become more coaxing
You snuggle up and suddenly
In the depths of your eyes
I see that you are happier
Why would words a hundred times repeated
Come to disturb our silence?
Don't tell me your secrets--
Look at me, that's enough
